IVL Foundation Donates 500,000 Baht to Duang Prateep Foundation to Support Klong Toey Community in the Fight Against COVID-19
IVL Foundation has donated 500,000 Baht to support the operations of Duang Prateep Foundation in assisting the living conditions of people in the Klong Toey community, who are facing difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic. The funds will be used to install sanitizing equipment at the entrances of Klong Toey, which is home to over 200,000 residents, and to provide essential supply bags to more than 300 families who have lost their jobs due to the economic impact of the outbreak. Additionally, this initiative will create 25 temporary jobs for a period of two months to prepare meals and distribute hygiene supplies to the elderly, disabled, and children in the community.
Mrs. Sujittra Loheea, President of IVL Foundation, stated, “This support for Duang Prateep Foundation aligns with IVL Foundation's commitment to promoting public welfare and the well-being of communities sustainably, especially for those affected by unexpected crises. We collaborate with various charitable organizations to assist society during the COVID-19 pandemic, which is a major crisis impacting the livelihoods of people, not only in terms of health but also significantly affecting the labor market. We recognize the importance of collaboration with different sectors to enhance our assistance. IVL Foundation aims to be part of the solution to alleviate the burdens of the community during this challenging time.”

Mrs. Prateep Ungtrongtham Hata, Founder and Secretary of Duang Prateep Foundation, expressed, “We are very grateful to IVL Foundation for recognizing the hardships of the Klong Toey community during the COVID-19 situation, as many people in Klong Toey have lost their jobs, affecting their family livelihoods. The budget received from IVL Foundation will be used to procure essential items and hygiene products for the unemployed, elderly, disabled, and children in the community. Both IVL Foundation and Duang Prateep Foundation are committed to being part of the effort to support and improve the living conditions of the Klong Toey community, which still requires significant assistance, given that there are over 200,000 residents and many are struggling with their livelihoods in this situation.”
